GDPR Essentials
Helping key workers to understand
their GDPR responsibilities.
The Challenge
Several serious breaches of data led to my client identifying a need for behavioural change within his organisation. His team of key workers needed to better understand their personal GDPR responsibilities when undertaking their daily duties.
The Solution
An online learning programme focused on triggering key behavioural changes. Appealing to the caring nature of the participants, the interactive programme asks learners to help 'Aiden' - a colleague in trouble for a serious data breach - better understand his GDPR responsibilities. In doing so, participants are invited to identify their own good and bad behaviours around processing personal data.
The Result
Prior to the programme, serious data breaches were occuring approximately once a month. Following the programme, serious data breaches dropped to approximately once every six months. Participants praised the learning for its practical approach and focus on real behaviours. The programme quickly became part of onboarding.
