An online course created to help employees understand their diversity and inclusion responsibilities.
The Challenge
Through focus groups, employee feedback and staff satisfaction surveys, my client had uncovered an essential missing ingredient within his workforce: diversity and inclusion.
This had led to unacceptable discrimination, high staff turnover and an uncomfortable working environment.
The Solution
The company needed cultural change, beginning with the leaders. A programme of events was scheduled focusing on awareness, education and self reflection. As part of the programme, I created an online learning module aimed at exploring personal bias, challenging assumptions and building positive habits.
The Result
12 months after the programme had finished, staff satisfaction levels around diversity and inclusion within the company had increased by 77%. Feedback around the online learning module commended its content for staying away from dry legislative information and focusing on real feelings and behaviours.
